I don't ever remember a weekend in the NFL where 13 of the 16 games were a td or more. The other 2 of 3 are 5 and 6 pts. I know Mr. Ace-Ace has said that the spread rarely matters in the NFL and I think he has excellent info, but it is hard for me to look at all these huge lines and not see a fair amount of teams covering but not winning this week. Love to hear what others think of these huge numbers.

I think the lines are inflated this week on most of the games because the bettors have been pounding the big favorites all season and they have been covering.

Even at these levels, the lines are not near the numbers that Buffalo was favored by in the early 90's when they went to the SB 4 straight years. I remember them being favored by 18 in one game and they were usually 13 or more every week.

inflated lines

I remember the 49ers and Bills giving 15-20 (or Minny when Les Steckel was there getting 15-20), but I don't ever remember a whole card with lines like these.

I agree, Jimmy. As much as I want to "stick with the winners," it's tough to lay that much chalk.

Cincy has proven they are a live dog, could give NE trouble.
Buffalo has been scoring like crazy last 2 games, but are they in a position to give anyone 11 points?
Pittsburgh still on 10 game win streak but didn't cover the last 2.
Indy & Philly are still very solid, but giving 9-11 points on the road????!!!!!

I'm sitting these games out and playing a few unders this week. GLTA
